Our mission at Reconciliation Strategies is to:

Cultural Foundation: Originating from Saskatchewan, my background is Metis, though my upbringing was not deeply entrenched in cultural traditions. However, life’s journey has enriched me with cultural competencies, acquired through a blend of personal development and professional experiences.

Professional Experience: My career at the Correctional Service Canada has been marked by meaningful interactions with over 134 Elders, alongside contributions to community-based and national projects. These experiences have underscored the rich diversity within Inuit, Metis, and First Nations communities, teaching me the importance of recognizing their distinct needs and characteristics.

Approach to Diversity: I advocate for a bespoke approach when engaging with First Nations communities across Canada, understanding that each has its unique challenges and requirements.

Philosophy and Capabilities: “Embracing the Unknown” encapsulates my approach to knowledge and expertise. I leverage my extensive network of contacts, places, and practices to assemble teams tailored to the specific reconciliation needs of organizations, ensuring a nuanced and effective response to diverse challenges.
